About our founder

Cultured Food Labs was founded by Eric Kinniburgh, a classically trained chef turned C-suite food industry executive whose nearly three decades of experience spans the full spectrum of food — from Michelin-caliber kitchens in Europe and New York City, to scaling groundbreaking plant-based brands. Eric's rare and hyper-unique blend of classical culinary artistry, deep food science expertise, and executive-level operational mastery — spanning manufacturing, supply chain, federal regulations, food safety, and natural preservation — gives Cultured Food Labs an unmatched foundation to guide emerging brands from bold idea to market-ready reality. His passion for harnessing the power of fermentation, gut health, and nature's own ingredients to create foods that truly nourish, drives everything Cultured Food Labs stands for — because for Eric, food has never just been about business, it's been about nourishment in every sense of the word.
